WHAT HAS MDCG DONE SO FAR?

We have developed a 2-3 lesson program laid out in layman's language that can be taught to indigenous , non-dental trained volunteers , using minimal portable equipment and supplies to perform exams, home care instruction, cleanings, fluoride txn , sealants and simple fillings.

In Vietnam we partnered with 2 NGOs to teach  people who worked for the orphanages, church members/workers

In the Philippines, we partnered with another 2 NGOs to start a national program utilizing volunteers and staff who are non-health professionals.

                               Indigenous lay volunteers using minimal equipment to provide simple dental care

 NEXT TRIP  :
 We will start delving into a new area, the Cambodia. We will help train lay locals in 2 areas to do outreach in providing  much needed dental treatment to 10s of thousands of poor children.
